My name is Abdul Basir, and I am 29 years old and currently working in a drug development research company doing my degree apprenticeship in chemistry.

I had started my Islamic studies by the age of 20 locally with Zuhri where I also got introduced to the Arabic language specifically grammar. After Zuhri (around 4 years after) I then enrolled with the Arabic college with Ustadh Mahmoud, and it has been just over 3 years and in here I have improved my speech and vocabulary in Arabic dramatically and I believe I have benefited the most in here with regards to the Arabic language.

I also enrolled in an institute known as Qiman in London to do my ‘Aalimya part time. I am on the third year out of the seventh and in this institute, I have been introduced to Usool Al-fiqh/hadith/Quran and I have benefited greatly in my Islamic studies in here. I also do a bit of Arabic grammar here too, all the books in here are in Arabic and with the vocabulary that I have learnt with Ustadh Mahmoud is what gave me a big boost in my reading and understanding in my class.
